Big Bag Comfort

The Big Bag Comfort is a modular system for different applications. The new big bag system is characterised by easy handling, high performance and a high degree of automation.
An additional option is the height-adjustable filling spout with motorised lifting system. Thanks to this option, different bag formats and sizes as well as octabins and large cardboard boxes can be used.

The Big Bag comfort can be equipped with different dosing systems for coarse and fine dosing depending on the product properties, such as

  • Rotary flap with individual flap position
  • Dosing screw for both coarse and fine flow
  • Vibrating chute with individual speeds
  • Dosing belt, speed-controlled for coarse and fine dosing

From the operator platform, which can be mounted on the side or in front of the machine, the bag can be optimally hooked into the load hooks and connected. The rear load hooks are automatically moved forwards to attach the big bag, making it easier for the operator to attach the bag. The hooks open automatically after filling or after the vibration cycle. The position of the hooks can be adjusted for different bag cross-sections.
The system is equipped with a compact control cabinet for controlling the individual components.

The system is controlled via a compact control cabinet with Simatic PLC. A touch panel displays all functions in plain text. The calibratable weighing electronics control the dosing precisely, and product-specific parameters are stored in the type memory. Customer signals and remote maintenance can be integrated as an option.

The rear load hooks automatically move forwards to make it easier for the operator to hook in the big bags. After filling or an optional jogging cycle, the hooks open automatically. The position of the hooks can also be flexibly adapted to different bag cross-sections.

For different container heights and user-friendly operation. The hydraulically operated lifting device brings the bag into an optimum position when attaching and filling. This device is indispensable for different bag formats.

The scale consists of a load bridge that is mechanically decoupled from the base frame. Special ball supports carry the weighing frame and allow it to oscillate without coupling. Lateral or impact forces, which can occur during removal with a forklift truck, have no influence on the load bridge. The weighing system is decoupled with balls to maximise accuracy. Susceptibility to repairs is therefore ruled out.

The big bags, especially those with an inliner, must be inflated so that the inliner can be positioned against the outer wall of the bag.
