STV 2200 welding machine
The STV 2200 is a powerful sealing system that has been specially developed for large containers such as big bags and octabins. It reliably seals octabins, big bags or cartons with liners while extracting the residual air. Thanks to its wide design for large bag dimensions, the machine is equipped with a clamping and spreading device that ensures simple, safe and ergonomic operation.
After centring the container, the operator secures the inliner using quick-release clamps and starts the sealing cycle outside the protective area. The spreading device opens while a travel mechanism detects any possible tearing of the inliner. This is followed by motorised spreading, the suction lance retracts and the sealing and welding jaws lower. The vacuum generator starts and extracts the remaining air from the inner liner.
Once the suction time has elapsed, the sealing jaws reliably seal the bag. The inner liner is then released after a time delay before the sealing head lifts for the next container. A clear touch panel guides you through all operating steps, displays settings and error messages, and allows manual control of all process steps in manual mode. The welding current is continuously monitored and displayed via the control system.
